This year brings a new format, marking the 11th anniversary of Ride Yr Bike Events. Riders must navigate three virtual unmanned check points in Oregon, Wyoming and crossing the Mississippi River, to achieve a recorded finish. Similar to 2024, the 2025 event combines the classic paved Trans Am Bike Race with the mixed terrain of Bike Nonstop USA. Still featuring a mass start on June 1st, in Astoria, Oregon, riders have a myriad of options to choose for their route traversing the USA. Riders can decide to head for the classic Trans Am finish line destination of Yorktown, Virginia, or the modern Bike Nonstop finish in Washington D.C. With the Trans Am route largely unchanged in almost 50 years, for riders and dotwatchers alike, this is a progressive twist on a classic calendar highlight.
